twentysix awarded ‘Best Large Integrated SEARCH Agency’ – at the UK Search Awards 2018

twentysix – “Best Large Integrated SEARCH Agency” – WINNER at UK SEARCH AWARDS 2018

We are delighted to announce and celebrate the win of ‘Best Large Integrated Search Agency’ following the 2018 UK Search Awards that took place in London on Thursday 29th November.

The UK Search Awards have been celebrating the expertise, talent and achievements of the search industry for over half a decade, and are regarded as the premiere celebration of SEO, PPC and content marketing in the UK.

The awards attract hundreds of entries from leading search and digital agencies from across the UK, as well as those based elsewhere around the globe who are delivering work for the UK market.

This year, the awards, in association with upUgo, were hosted by Katherine Ryan and featured 34 categories celebrating the very best in SEO & PPC campaigns, software and the teams and individuals behind them. All the categories were judged by an influential and respected international judging panel, which is a robust, credible and transparent two-step process involving pre-scoring and a face to face panel discussion.

The victory comes for us following thirteen years as an agency, growing from 12 people in an office under a railway arch into a major regional employer of 155 digital and creative experts, including teams from all digital disciplines working together to drive client businesses forward and deliver ROI, and create world-class marketing and creative work.

In 2017, we took the decision as an agency to merge our two separate agencies (twentysix and twentysix Search) to create a single agency team to give clients an integrated and streamlined service and optimise overall efficiency and effectiveness.

The objectives of the merge was to:

  • Improve relevancy of services in a converging digital space
  • Provide greater flexibility in service delivery to clients and reduce the silo approach to servicing clients
  • Reduce duplication of work and effort and improve efficiency
  • Streamline services, structures, teams and operational procedures
  • Consolidate duplicated costs
  • Single reporting and management structure
  • Maintain the agency culture of collaboration, communication and entrepreneurial spirit.

This year, our turnover has increased to £16 million and we launched our brand-new product that matches user search intent to user journey behaviour on-site – we established a biometric UX testing lab in-house using state-of-the-art technology found in no other search agency in the UK – aiding our SEO performance to unprecedented levels. Today, at least 50% of our clients are truly buying integrated services from us as an agency – working with cross functional teams from design, UX, dev, SEO, PPC data; 40% of all new business wins are for integrated services which aligned to our new strategy direction; 58% of clients now working as true full-service clients – a real USP of our agency.

Our recent achievements include:

  • A £1 million increase in year-on-year revenue from the organic channel for one of Europe’s largest travel businesses
  • 100% increase in year-on-year in organic channel performance for a leading multi-channel retailer
  • Over 50 high-quality links generated for a leading financial services retailer

The joined-up approach offers services to benefit clients, creating a single customer view to rely on, says our Ryan Scott, Managing Director of twentysix:

“What an amazing win! At twentysix we are a truly integrated digital agency with single minded objective: to make our clients more money across their digital activity. I am SO proud of the team and all the hard work they deliver on behalf of clients. To beat the best in the UK Search industry is absolutely fabulous.”

Global CEO Gail Dudleston adds:

“twentysix used its competitive advantage to combine the skills of our in-house SEO and UX teams – this year we launched a brand-new product which matches Search Keyword user intent to user journey behaviour onsite, as we combine data analysis with our in-house Bio-Metric UX Labs to improve both traffic and conversion. Our clients are now benefiting from strategic, content and technical SEO as well as a deep focus on user intent and behaviour.”
